Peer-to-peer information sharing

Business Crime Reduction Partnerships (BCRPs) play an increasingly important role in tackling low-level crime and antisocial behaviour. They are self-funded by their members, who are usually retailers and licensees, to reduce low-level crime and antisocial behaviour in their immediate neighbourhoods. BCRPs deliver local solutions to local problems, managing local troublemakers in defined geographical areas.

This white paper shows how individual BCRPs, working at local level to address problems with local offenders to the benefit of members, can link together with other BCRPs. They can efficiently and effectively share information such as news, alerts and documents about upcoming events, but also share information about offenders to identify travelling and prolific criminals.
