Lincoln Business Improvement Group (Lincoln BIG) was created when businesses in the city-centre voted to establish a Business Improvement District (BID) in April 2005.

Lincoln BIG provides a full range of services across the heart of the city, including the provision of security, street wardens, an events team and the city's information centre.A key part of its role is to ensure a proactive approach to the reduction of crime in the city-centre, both in the shopping areas during the day, and in the licensed premises that make up the city's lively night-time economy.

It's vital there's a clear flow of information between the business members as well as with the team that manages operations. Yvette Hall has been part of that team for over 11 years and it is her job to ensure that communications run smoothly, effectively, efficiently - and economically.
