DISC was developed by Littoralis Limited, who continue to develop the product as well as sell and support it.
Littoralis has built DISC around its expertise in online publishing, secure intranets, document management solutions and self-certification systems.
It has developed online publishing systems for commercial publishers and corporate intranets, developed Knowledge Management Systems to support ‘GxP’ intranets in fields such as pharmaceutical trials management, manufacturing, financial audit and others and since 2001 has been combining online publishing and document management with tight user-certification of Standard Operating Procedures and key ‘Must Read’ documents.
Its secure internet-based information-sharing systems combine this expertise with secure encrypted access systems and robust server-side security and resiliance. Littoralis clients include large and small companies, voluntary organisations and community groups, county constabularies as well as the large metropolitan forces, local authorities and business crime reduction partnerships throughout the UK. We're based in the south coast 'city-by-the-sea' of Brighton & Hove.
Today (August 2017) Littoralis supports over 150 DISC implementations around the UK, covering in excess of 300 towns and city-centres, as well as a growing number of regional and national communities and commercial users.
